Marmite ducks?
These colour variations of Carolina, Aix sponsa and Fulvous Whistling Ducks, Dendrocygna bicolor, and other colour mutations are still popular, but has the boom passed?
If mutations are kept with the normal wild colours they will of course interbreed. Some of the youngsters may look normal, but carry a latent (hidden) gene, which will surface in future generations.
